Summerhall gains FSC Chain of Custody certification

28th May 2006 – With effect from 12 May 2006 Summerhall have been awarded FSC TRADA-Trak Chain of Custody Certification with Licence number TT – COC – 2201.

The certificate covers the purchasing, processing, sales and distribution of FSC Certified printed paper products.

FSC stands for the Forest Stewardship Council which is an international, independent, non-profit, non-government organisation promoting responsible forest management world-wide.

FSC promotes standards for virgin forest management which are used for certifying the responsible management of forests, and the system called “Chain of Custody” for tracing, verifying and labelling timber and paper products derived from FSC-certified forests, throughout all processes to final delivery to the end user.

This enables Summerhall to include the FSC logo on client products to establish both Summerhall and client care about sourcing raw material from renewable, well managed sources.
