Offset Litho Multi Colour
A range of 2, 6, and 10 colour presses deliver quality of the highest order up to B1 sheet size incorporating a range of features including automated plate changing offering reductions in lead times and temperature controlled rollers ensuring colour consistency. Our 10 colour press is a perfector which means it can print 5 colours to both sides of the sheet in a single pass through the press. Using conventional screening or the dotless stacatto screening technology, from first to last sheet quality is measured and controlled both electronically and with the trained eye of experienced craftsmen.
Digital Multi Colour
It is 10 years since the first digital presses offered the possibility of printing runs as low and unique as 1 copy combined with an offset litho level of quality and as is the way with all computer imaging the process has moved on dramatically and is now able to achieve levels of quality equal to that of multi colour offset litho including the use of specially mixed colours in addition and in conjunction with the normal 4 process colours.
For the first time, uniquely in Scotland, our Hewlett Packard Indigo offers the possibility of brand and house colours specially mixed and combined within full 7 colour personalisation. Personalisation is also a strength of our Xerox equipment working in conjunction with powerful Creo colour and text management tools producing complex mail merge and collation tasks direct from the customer’s desktop.
Finishing
Our finishing department compliments the printing processes with a wide range of high speed guillotining folding and stitching equipment allowing fast turnaround of complex folding and finishing patterns in addition to which we can provide scoring perforating forme cutting and hand finishing. |
